Happy 89th Birthday, Queen Elizabeth II

It’s cake time for the Queen today (April 21), who’s celebrating her 89th birthday.
Today is her real birthday, while her official birthday is on Saturday, June 13.

So, to celebrate the Queen’s birthday, 10 things you never knew about Her Majesty.

1. She made her first public speech when she was 14.

2. She became queen when she was 25.

3. She loves to boogie!

4. To her husband, she’s just a sausage...or cabbage :)
(Prince Philip’s pet names for The Queen)

5. Grandsons Prince William and Prince Harry don't call the queen "Your Majesty." To them, she's just "Granny."

6. She loves a crime thriller.
(one of her favourite authors is Agatha Christie)
